Creating and implementing a new Cisco brand identity

In conjunction with updating the Cisco logo, we revamped our entire brand identity system. Cisco’s rebooted core visual identity assets—logo, typography, color palettes and photography—were used to create new design systems, which were then applied to new deliverables across all of Cisco globally. This vast company rebrand included business units, products, built environments, partner experiences and global events. Winners of Rebrand 100® Award of Distinction for 2008 and 2012.

Cisco UX

The Cisco Digital ID system was created to unify the digital design language of online experiences, product design, social media, email, blogs and display advertising—every time we interact with people is an opportunity to help them love Cisco a little more. We made the most of it by making everything we produce more integrated, more consistent, and beautiful.

Cisco Built Environments

Visual identity systems support a wide variety of brand expressions, including built environments. Clear and consistent application of the ID system creates enriching brand experiences. Our goal was to reinvigorate Cisco work spaces, functionally and aesthetically. We wanted to give employees a feeling of pride and satisfaction coming into the office.

Below examples exemplify the fluid application of the Cisco brand identity onto a wide range of built environments.
