Aligning industrial design with the new Cisco visual identity
The look and feel of Cisco’s core networking products had become fragmented and unrecognizable as a brand. Our job was to create a new, unifying industrial design language, with Pininfarina America Corp, that reflected the awesomeness that was already inside these products. The new design language was a way to express the Cisco brand in physical form. In the end, with the successful implementation of our new industrial design language, products scored record profits, won awards and received several US Design Patents.
This Catalyst Switch was one of the main archetypes for implementing the new Cisco industrial design language.
